Like everyone, I was deeply shocked by the tidal waves that hit in the region of Asia on Boxing Day, even more so as the event was brought home to me as I have three friends who live in the affected areas. There are a list of charities below that I would urge you to give a contribution to to help the aid missions being conducted in the communities that have been hit by this terrible disaster. Please ensure before you give any money you are happy with the authenticity of the charity, as I have not personally checked them all. I just wanted to give people an opportunity here to help; I myself was a bit overwhelmed for the first couple of days - I wanted to help but didn't know how to until this morning. Please give a donation, no matter how large or small, as every penny really does help. Your money will be used to bring clean water, food, medical supplies and shelter to thousands of people who desperately need it. Thank you for time,
